Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
Saute the ground beef and onion over medium high heat in a skillet until the beef is browned and the onion is softened. Drain any excess fat.
Reduce the heat to medium and stir in the onions, garlic and peas and carrots. Saute another minute.
Pour in the soup as well as salt and pepper to taste.
Layer the beef mixture in a 9x13 baking dish.
Unroll the crescent roll dough, and pinch the seams closed.
Spread the dough over the top of the meat mixture.
Bake for 25 minutes. You can sprinkle someItalian seasoning on top if desired.
Let sit for 5 minutes before serving.
